Sister Allison's Testimony

Allison BEFORE:
“I lost my father at 13 years old and my mother at 19. I came from an alcohol and drug-addicted family. That's all I knew, so of course I went to drugs and alcohol. I spent 17 years of my life in a whirlwind of addictions including prostitution. I had three children by the time I was 19 years old. By the time I was 20, my youngest daughters father committed suicide on my lap. This is when my life of full blown crank/meth addiction started. So at 21years old I made the decision to put my children in foster care cause I did not want them to end up like me. My life quickly dwindled down to drugs constantly. Even more addicted, I was in and out of treatment 7 times over the past 10 years. None of them worked.

Allison AFTER:
"I thank-God for my leaders, who invested their time in my life and taught me how to have a relationship with God. Because of them being that willing vessel for Christ, it instilled a burden inside of me to as well teach, and show others Christ’s Love through me, just like I was shown. I know that God never gave up on me, and neither did my leaders. I thank-God for their prayers and belief in God, and never giving up.

I am now a Womens Home Director, in the same Home where I surrendered my life to God. I have an awesome experience to be able to watch women grow and change before my very eyes. in all my life I would have never thought that this is what I would be doing in my life, but since I met Christ I know that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13
