Brother Jeremy's Testimony

Brother Jeremy

“My name is Jeremy and I grew up in my parents church. When I was little my parents went to Bible college and became ordained ministers. Growing up I began to fall away from church. I started smoking weed in the 6th Grade. My grades in school began to drop down, got kicked out for bringing illeagal weapons to school. When High School rolled around my family moved due to a tragedy. I blamed God and turned away completely. I started partying, drinking, and smoking more heavily. During my junior year my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and I began to curse God. That summer my Brother was in an accident and became paralyzed from the waist down. A few months later I broke my leg in a football game. Hating God by that time, I went to church high in spite of Him. After I graduated I quit going to church. I then moved out of my parents house and began to start using methamphetamines, taking over the counter drugs in mass quantities. Just to get high one day I took a bunch of pills and lost control of myself. A case was being brought against me for a number of things including grand theft auto, and many other things.

I then came to Seattle and went to the V.O. Men's Home at the age of 18 at the weight of 130 pounds - broken, lost, and hurting. Since then my life has never been the same thanks to the grace and mercy of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I have been set free, I am now in love with God, I am involved on the Victory Outreach Worship Team, also in G.A.N.G. (God's Anointed Now Generation) at V.O. Seattle, and am in the new band 'BURNING BUSH'. God is so faithful.

God bless you.
